We are actively working on digitization and intelligent data extraction using advanced AI technologies. Our solutions integrate Computer Vision, Optical Character Recognition (OCR), Handwritten Text Recognition (HTR), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Large Language Models (LLM) to revolutionize the way organizations process and analyze data.
Currently, we are collaborating with the National Archives of India (NAI) on a five-year project focused on digitizing historical records. Using OCR and HTR, we are converting vast volumes of printed and handwritten documents into machine-readable text, followed by intelligent data extraction to derive meaningful insights. This initiative aims to preserve, organize, and make historical records more accessible for research and policy-making.
Beyond archival work, our AI-driven solutions enhance efficiency across industries—automating document processing, improving sentiment analysis, and building smarter chatbots. DevRev is a pioneering SaaS company that aims to seamlessly connect developers with customers through cutting-edge AI technologies. It specializes in creating support and build solutions tailored for customer service teams and product development groups, respectively. Central to its innovation is the integration of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and the exploration of Large Language Models (LLMs), which are critical in refining the functionalities available to users.
A prime example of DevRev’s technological advancement is Turing AI, an AI-driven agent crafted to efficiently manage support inquiries by leveraging the customer’s knowledge base, executing specific actions, and utilizing customer APIs for data retrieval. This system’s effectiveness is significantly enhanced by Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) technology, a focal point of DevRev’s research and development initiatives. EMERGY Enviro Pvt. Ltd was established with the sole aim of providing environmental solutions to industrial & governmental organizations on all environmental issues through its high-quality, tailored services and innovative products. The company is an initiative by an IIT-B graduate for technology transfer from research scale to on-field implementation.
Our IP product, ‘Integrated Wetland Technology’ (IWT), developed at IIT BOMBAY, is an innovative decentralized Green Sewage Treatment Plant with zero energy requirement. N-treat, another innovative product of EMERGY to treat wastewater inside the nallah (in-situ treatment), is also been developed in association with IIT Bombay. Both products are commercially available, and R&D is ongoing to upgrade them further.
Moreover, some products such as Indoor Air Quality Control Technology for Parking Lot, Odour Control Equipment, Bio-stabilized Aerated Static Pile are developed in association with Prof Dikshit, IIT Bombay. R & D is ongoing to develop Multi-effect Solar evaporator.
Our association with the research park will help us with better access to R&D facilities and open up collaboration opportunities with the faculty and student pool.
HEI Technology India Pvt. Ltd. is the Indian R&D arm of HEI Technology International GmbH (Austria), specialising in high-performance solar systems and smart urban infrastructure. Our patented PowerTube – cylindrically shaped PV tubes, integrated with advanced power-management and control electronics, forms the backbone of HEI’s autonomous solar street lighting and smart solar mast solutions.
