Ways to Reach IIT Bombay Campus
From Nearest Airport
IIT Bombay is at an approximate distance of 7 kms from Sahar Airport (Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport) and 10 kms from Santacruz (Chhatrapati Shivaji Domestic Airport). It is advisable to avail the pre-paid taxi services that are available at the airports.
From Nearest Railway Station
The Nearest Central Railway Stations are Kanjurmarg and Vikhroli which are both around 2 Km distance from IIT Bombay, from where one can avail an Autorickshaw / Taxi or Chalo bus service for a near minimum fare (*under clear traffic conditions*)
Public Transport
Mumbai has one of the most efficient and reliable public transport networks. For short distances, one can travel by autorickshaws / taxis to reach IIT-B. For longer distances, one can use either the BEST Bus Network or the Mumbai Local train System.
From IIT Bombay to ASPIRE - IIT Bombay Research Park Building
To enter, make sure to present your ASPIRE gate pass provided from the ASPIRE team as per the scheduled visit. Utilise the campus map provided to make your way towards the ASPIRE building smoothly. Multiple Mode of Transport like E-cart, auto rickshaw, bicycle or rent local transportation cab service are also available within the campus.
