ASPIRE today

At present, 22 companies, namely, Amar Chemistry, Applied Materials, Atomberg, Bharat Forge, Balaji Enzyme & Chemicals, Ceremorphic, CTech Labs, Everest, Google, ideaForge, igrenEnergi, Inventys, Jay Chemicals, MNST, MuRata, NanoSniff, Neodocs, NCIIPC, Tejase Aerosense, Ubisoft, Viacom18, and Virenxia are the members of the Research Park. With every new day, ASPIRE has been reaching out to startups and industries to establish R&D links and nurture collaborations in scientific domains that include, but are not limited to Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Robotics, Semiconductors, Biotechnology, Cyber Security, Virtual Reality, and the list goes on.

The foundation stone for the Research Park building at IIT Bombay was laid on 10th October 2018. The much-awaited building is now in its final stage of construction and shall begin operations by early 2022.

Incorporation of IIT Bombay Research Park Foundation

The IIT Bombay Research Park Foundation (IITBRPF) was incorporated on 28th June 2016. It was registered as a non-profit entity established by IIT Bombay under an initiative by the Ministry of Education (formerly the Ministry of Human Resource Development), Govt. of India.


Launched logo of ‘ASPIRE’ & ‘Applied Materials’ joins IITB Research Park as an Anchor Client

The IIT Bombay Research Park Foundation logo, ASPIRE, was launched on 22nd October 2015. On the same day, Applied Materials joined hands with IIT Bombay Research Park, to become its first anchor client. This marked a significant step to a strengthening partnership and the beginning of many more industry-academia collaborations with the sole intent of growth in research and development.
