The ASPIRE Research Park is designed to provide an excellent environment to nurture and sustain exciting collaborations for technology development and translation. The research park offers a very conducive ambience for start-ups, MSMEs, and industry giants to collaborate with IIT Bombay through the following modes of engagement.

To facilitate the dissemination and adoption of technological advancements, industry member companies may collaborate with IIT Bombay faculty to jointly offer training programs or technology advancement programmes. To foster deeper collaboration, industry member companies may host IIT Bombay faculty for extended engagements at their workplace. Likewise, industry professionals may be invited to IITB, enabling mutual knowledge exchange and co-development of ideas.
Adjunct faculty
IIT Bombay encourages experienced industrial researchers to contribute to its academic ecosystem through adjunct faculty roles. This enables them to co-teach courses alongside IITB faculty, offering students valuable industry insights and practical perspectives that complement academic learning.
Professor of Practice
The Professor of Practice position provides a structured avenue for distinguished industry professionals to collaborate closely with IITB faculty. This role focuses on bridging research and industrial application, thereby advancing translational outcomes with real-world impact.
