The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay signed an LoI with Business Sweden to foster smart energy collaborations. Signed by Ms. Cecilia Oskarsson, Trade Commissioner of Sweden to India and Prof. A. M. Pradeep, Associate Dean R&D, IIT Bombay, this association aims to expand research towards becoming a climate-neutral country.
The key personalities present during the event include Ms. Anna Lekvall, Consul General of Sweden to Mumbai; Mr. Pawan Tahlani, Lead – Sustainability & Climate Change, Business Sweden; Mr. Naman Sethi, Consulat, Business Sweden; Prof. K. V. K. Rao, Deputy Dean (FEA), IIT Bombay; Prof. Kishore Chatterjee, Head, Dept. of Electrical Engineering, IIT Bombay; Prof. Ravindra Gudi, Professor-in-Charge, IITB Research Park, Ms. M. Kameshwari, COO, IITB Research Park & Prof. Swaroop Ganguly, Dept. Electrical Engineering, IIT Bombay. Mr. Ludvig Lindstrom, Country Manager – India, Swedish Energy Agency graced the ceremony virtually.
In line with Business Sweden’s objectives, Prof. Gudi extended his support and emphasised that the Research Park is creating a vibrant ecosystem of industry and academia at IIT Bombay and there is a lot more to explore together in electric mobility and solar energy space.
